Advanced Filter API

When invoking the

this.visualHost.applyJsonFilter method consecutively to apply the filter on two different calls only the latest applied filter is getting applied. Do you face this issue, any guidance would help.

Hello @jaypi

Are you trying to apply 2 filters one by one?

If so, this is expected behavior.

Hi Ignat yes, we are applying 2 filters using applyJsonFilter one after the other. Even after using the newly added Filter Action only one filter is getting applied. Thanks Jay

As far as I know, Advanced Filter API allow to apply only one filter.

In other words, if you call applyJsonFilter a few times only the last filter will be applied.

Hi Ignat, If you look at the 1.8.0 there is a FilterAction parameter added to applyJsonFilter, the documentation doesnt explain the purpose - could you please help understand the purpose behind this parameter. https://github.com/Microsoft/PowerBI-visuals-tools/blob/f5ff3a9f14b6648aa6728209414f587452eb4b64/tem...
