Can I automate appending files from a folder?

Can I automate the process of appending excel files in a folder on Power Bi? The requirement is to make a single connection to the folder from Power BI and whenever there is a refresh, Power Bi will automatically append the files contained in the folder. Is it possible?

I suppose that you can try to implement some connector that will work with a file server but you should ask about it in an appropriate thread as that or that one.

Are you trying to create filec.xlsx from filea.xlsx appended with fileb.xlsx?  Or are you trying to include new data from fileb.xlsx into the existing data model from filea.xlsx?
