Hi everyone, I'm hoping that someone from Microsoft will see this question and contact me.
I created a visual for my own use-case at work that later on I thought could benefit others, so I wanted to offer it via AppSource, but I keep running into a stone wall with the support team to help with my verification.
I followed the documentation to register to Partner Center, I registered a legal entity, I bought a domain, etc., but my verification still failed, and I wasn't given any explanation why.
I opened a follow-up ticket via Partner Center specifically to ask why my previous case was closed without explanation, and this ticket was closed with the exact same reply.
I don't know what to do, and without the chance to actually engage in a conversation to discuss what else I might have to do, change, or adjust, I just feel completely lost.
Thanks,
Daniel
Hi @DanielSH,
Unfortunately, the Custom Visuals team won't see your message here. If the certification failure report doesn't contain specific details (although they usually are pretty good), contact pbicvsupport@microsoft.com regarding remediation questions. They should be able to give you specific reasons for the failures and advise you on what they need for your visual to pass certification.
Good luck,
Daniel

Thanks Daniel, this is great advice. I'll reach out to this mail group and report back if I was able to solve my problem, so hopefully others can benefit from my experience.
I hope it will! The Partner Center teams don't seem to specifically check with the visuals team on any issues, and in my experience, I've always had to follow up using the channel above rather than using the support process there. I appreciate this is not intuitive at all, and just offering some anecdotal experience of how I have worked through my remediation issues in the past. The custom visuals team is generally very helpful in these cases, though!
Again, good luck!
Daniel
