Current maximum as new peak

I have a normal looking line chart with peaks and troughs, like the following:

A new maximum is established everytime a new peak is reached, like the following:

How do you get the dark blue line with DAX (I had to do it in Python because of my ignorance)?

CALCULATE ( 

MAX ( TableName[Wind - GWH] ),

TableName[Date] <= MAX (TableName[Date]),
REMOVEFILTERS ( TableName )

)
