Hi,
I have a Calendar table with a custom column showing Financial Year(Apr - March).
When I bring the Financial Year as a slicer and filter for a particular FY, Date Hierarchy doesn't work properly.
But when I remove the hierarchy, it filters out properly.
Ex: When slicer 'Financial Year' is 2021 (Apr 2021 to March 2022), Date hierarchy shows all dates whereas when Date hierarchy is removed, it only shows dates between Apr 2021 to March 2022.
Kindly refer to the below screenshot for the same.
Can someone kindly help me with this issue?
Thank you,
Prajna.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Try creating the Quarter, Month, and Day columns in the Calendar table and use them in visuals.
The date hierarchy that the desktop automatically creates is all dates in a full calendar year, which may not be sliced by your defined fiscal year.
