How to carry out a horizontal analysis

Please provide a more detailed explanation of what you are aiming to achieve. What have you tried and where are you stuck? What is a "horizontal analysis" ?

Horizontal analysis is a percentage comparison of a month in relation to its previous month. I'd actually like to insert a dax function that performs this calculation. I tried but couldn't do it.

I want to know whether a given month has increased or decreased in relation to the previous period. This data in percentage form.

Do you want to use DAX formulas against the data model, or do you want to use Visual Calculations?
