Hello,
I'm currently facing an issue while calculating a cumulative sum in Power BI. I have a table named "elec hour" containing data for electrical power and electrical drying rate for each hour of the day. I want to calculate the cumulative sum of the drying rate up to each hour.
I've tried several approaches, including using the SUMX function with FILTER to iterate over each row and calculate the cumulative sum, but the results are not as expected. The calculation seems to repeat for each row instead of gradually adding the drying rate from each previous hour.
I'm open to any suggestions or corrections to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Why are cumulative sums so easy in Excel yet so hard in DAX
I don't know how to delete my topic but i have solved my issue
Thanks
Hi, @Anonymous
I'm glad to hear that you've solved it, and if you'd like, can you share your workaround for the rest of the community to learn?
Best Regards
Yongkang Hua
