Hi community
In the lakehouse sparksql per default use case-insenstitivity for sql which is fine for me (this property can be โset using spark.sql.caseSensitive = [true/false]โ). However this behavior is not the same in sql-endpoint for the lakehouse - there table names are case sensitive and it seems we do not have the option to choose if we want case-insenstitivity.
Does anyone know a way around this โ I want to have case insensitivity in sql-endpoint for object (like tables and views) as well?

Hi @KimTutein i reached out to the MS team on this. It's currently being tested so hold on for now and there should be news coming (not sure when)
MS need to get the metadata sync working between lakehouse and sql endpoint, that's the issue.

Thank you very much for you feedback - much appreciated.
I will hold for now and look forward to the feature ๐
