Hi Team, since yesterday (16/09/2025) I cannot use my usual workcycle to edit my semantic models with Tabular Editor 2.20.0 from Power BI Desktop.
- Could it been occured due to the latest refresh?
I still can edit via PBI Desktop, but it is just a legthy process i don't have the time to.
Saving the files into PBIP and edit via VS is also an option, but also, a much longer process for me.
- Is there any parameter I might miss to switch on/off on my .pbix file maybe?
Many thanks in advance for any help.

I have faced the same issue last week.
Fixed it by enabling this feature:
I do not think Tabular Editor 2.2 (free version) supports pbip structure. 3.x (paid) does.
https://docs.tabulareditor.com/te3/desktop-limitations.html?tabs=postjune2023
it does. I can use it with no further problem after allowing the unsupported Power BI features.
There was a new version of TE 2.x released this week.

Thanks very much Max. This is exactly TE team suggested to me to do, too.
