Hi I am not sure if this has been posted already , but seems like i am facing some weird issues .
I created a Table from a Query which is selecting some columns from Silver layer which is in lakehouse
I tried saving that table in Datawarehouse to use SQL as my tool but when i drop that table i still see that table in the One Lakeexplorer
it seems not gone at all i tried deleting it mannually and sync it back again but it still there
Is it a feature when you drop tables from warehouse the underlying folders in One lake will not been deleted ? I see contrary behaviour in Lakehouse when i drop a table in lakehouse all data with folders are deleted
Anyone facing the same behaviour??
Ps: Moreover the notification showing creating table for more that 2 hours which also is confusing as tables were created right away in datawarehouse
Hi, @puneetvijwani Thanks for posting your question in Microsoft Fabric Community
For the creating table notification, can you tell us more so that we can troubleshoot it?

Geetha
@GeethaT-MSFT Sending you link to video as PM where i tried and capture the error.
I have created a table named "Tripdistance_greater_than_10โ.
you can see it has a time stamp of today date and time when i sync it in one lake.
when i drop it ,doesnโt go away ..it seems to still show me 17.06 folder which i cannot delete it manually as well.
Also, the notification still coming as creating table while table creation was done already the notification last for 2 hours which is misleading as table creation and drop has already been done
Ps :- let me know if you downloaded the file i will delete this then from my shared drive.
Hi, @puneetvijwani I have not received any link in PM, however, It is indeed a known issue that when you drop a table, it will still show in OneLake Explorer. We are actively developing and testing an enhancement to close that loop and drop the folder soon after the table is dropped!
I hope this information helps.
Regards
Geetha
