DirectQuery not available anymore in Incremental refresh setup - "Table cannot be folded"

Since August 2025 release, we cannot select anymore the option to get the latest data in real time with DirectQuery when setting up the incremental refresh for a query. The checkbox is greyed out and the following sentense is displayed : "Selected table cannot be folded for DirectQuery".

We do use the "Value.NativeQuery" function in the related query source with option [EnableFolding=true].

This was working fine before August 2025 release.

Has anyone experienced the same issue ?
