Hi there,
I have a single table ("Issues") that contains the following fields:
* Key (PK)
* Issue Type
* Epic Link
* Parent Link
Currently, for all Keys where Issue Type = "Epic", there's a record for "Parent Link." What I'd like to accomplish is to have a new column that populates the Parent Link for all Keys, including where Issue Type is Story.
Here's an example:
Here's the Dax I currently have for my custom column. But as you can see, it's not yielding the intended result.
Strategic Initiative =
CALCULATE(MAX(Issues[Parent Link]),
FILTER(ALL(Issues), Issues[Key]=EARLIER(Issues[Key])))
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

It looks like you just need to look up the Epic Link rather than the Key.
Strategic Initiative =
CALCULATE (
MAX ( Issues[Parent Link] ),
FILTER ( ALL ( Issues ), Issues[Key] = EARLIER ( Issues[Epic Link] ) )
)

That did it - thank you so much!
