YTD function for categorical variable

Hi,

I am trying to create an YTD for an count of categorical variable for each event type. The data is similar to this. Now I have to create a count of rating difference from 2021-2022. How do I proceed with that ?

I used this

RATING_YTD = TOTALYTD(Count(Sheet0[Rating]),Sheet0[Response Date].[Date],Sheet0[Rating]="Promoters")
but it doesnot seem to work. Am I doing it correct ?

Hi @Anonymous,

You may try this solution.

1 Make some changes to your Measure

RATING_YTD = TOTALYTD(Count(Sheet0[rating]),Sheet0[response date].[Date])

2 Create a visual like this

Also, attached the sample pbix file.
