Request for Update: CI/CD Support for Dataflow Gen2

I read this post https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Data-Engineering/CICD-support-for-Dataflow-Gen2/m-p/430235... about CI/CD support for Dataflow Gen2 when it was first announced in preview. The latest update I saw mentioned that it had been rescheduled to January.

Currently , I don't see it in my workspace item list. Could you provide the current status of CI/CD support for Dataflow Gen2? This information is crucial for my team as we design our data processing solution in Fabric.

Hi @TanachaiP,

As for now the only information provided by Microsoft is that the support will be available by January. If it's not available by January then the expected timeframe will be updated by them.

If I misunderstand your needs or you still have problems on it, please feel free to let us know.

Best Regards,
Hammad.

Hello @TanachaiP

The feature officially rolled out in mid-January 2025 after delays from its initial November 2024 target. Some users report visibility issues with the creation tile, which Microsoft attributes to gradual regional deployment.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/get-started/known-issues/known-issue-933-new-tile-dataflow-...

Ms doc says : "

The Dataflow Gen2 (CI/CD, preview) feature isn't available for public usage. Disregard the tile for now."

Please accept this solution if this helpful and give kudos.

Thanks

Thank you @Anonymous @nilendraFabric , If it's not available in January ,has Microsoft provided an expected timeframe for when it will be available for public use? If so, could you share that with me?
