Auto ML Problem

Hi, I’m having an issue running AutoML. When I click the “Next” button, absolutely nothing happens. I’ve tried different workspaces and different configurations, and it still doesn’t work.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi @tribeiro2109,

here are few thing you can check:

  1. Browser issues:

    • Clear cache and cookies, then try again
    • Try a different browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)
    • Disable browser extensions temporarily, especially ad blockers
    • Try incognito/private mode
  2. Check required fields: Ensure all mandatory fields are filled correctly, including:

    • Target column selected
    • Training time specified
    • Proper data types for your target column
  3. Data validation:

    • Verify your dataflow/dataset has successfully refreshed
    • Check that you have enough rows of data (AutoML needs sufficient data)
    • Ensure no missing or null values in critical columns
  4. Workspace/capacity issues:

    • Confirm you're in a Premium/Fabric workspace (AutoML requires Premium capacity)
    • Check if the capacity has available resources
  5. Permissions: Verify you have contributor/admin rights on the workspace

If none of these work, try creating a simple test dataset with minimal columns to isolate if it's a data-specific issue.

Best regards!
